“Touchstone” is a 4th generation family home built on a foundation of love for Lakeside and family. The owner, my mother, was a cherished year-round resident and Lakeside historian who began and ran the Tram Tours for 16 years. Her children are now the custodians of this home, and we are thrilled to share it with your family during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. The cottage has been added onto several times over the years and was even lifted and turned sideways so passersby could not peek in and watch my great aunts playing cards on the porch—now the charming side screened-in porch. Every inch of this home reflects its rich history and the many memories made within its walls. Winterized more than 20 years ago, “Touchstone” combines Lakeside character with modern comfort. It offers central air conditioning and heating, a full-sized washer and dryer, cathedral ceilings, and a beautiful bay window in the king-bedded master. Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious deck with plenty of cozy seating for outdoor dining, grilling, or simply relaxing with a favorite summer book in the sunshine.
