House includes Window air conditioning units. Located in the heart of Lakeside, this welcoming five-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage is steeped in history. The front porch is perfect for sitting and watching the world pass by while the second-floor deck is ideal for hammock time and enjoying the sun. The open design of the first floor provides ample opportunities for relaxation, shared meals, and games. Sleeping Accommodations: Six bedrooms upstairs: Bedroom #1 has one queen Bedroom #2 has one queen Bedroom #3 has a full and is connected to Bedroom #4 with two twins Bedroom #5 fifth has one full and is connected to Bedroom #6 with two twins Rooms with twin beds are accessed by walking through the attached room with one full. Stairs to second floor are narrow and may not be appropriate for those with mobility issues. Rental features two bathrooms, one downstairs with a shower and one upstairs with a tub. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs living area. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, and gas grill. Maximum occupancy is 12. No pets allowed. NO pets are permitted either inside or outside. (Some owners do have pets.) Renters are required to leave the property in clean and neat condition. Check out 10:00 AM. In addition to cleanliness, the cottage should be left undamaged and ready for the next guests. Failure to do so will result in an additional charge applied to the credit card on file. Please put away all kitchenware, including emptying the dishwasher, all trash removed from property, and beds remade neatly upon leaving. Trash should be taken to the dumpsters past the Welcome Center. Please note: a cleaning fee is required with each reservation. Upon departure, renters must wash, dry and put away all kitchenware (including emptying the dishwasher, if cottage is equipped), remove all trash and take to receptacles near the Welcome Center, and fold bedspreads neatly at the foot of the beds. *Additional gate fees will be charged from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Cottage Rentals Cancellation Policy: 30% Down payment is nonrefundable and due upon booking of reservation. Remaining balance is due 90 Days from arrival date. If not paid, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and 30% down payment will not be refunded. 60 Days to 89 Days from arrival date, if the reservation is Cancelled all monies will be refunded less the original 30% down payment. (i.e., $2,000 Full Payment; 30% Down Payment is $600. Cancelled refund is $1,400.) 31 Days to 59 Days of arrival date, if reservation is cancelled 50% of monies paid after the 30% down payment. (i.e., $2,000 Full Payment; 30% Down Payment is $600. Cancelled refund is $700.) 30 Days or less if the reservation is Cancelled there will be $0 refunds.
