This cottage is available for the 2024 Eclipse! If you are looking for the best of both worlds, this 4-season home with a "cottagey" feel is for you. Located right OUTSIDE THE GATES of Lakeside Chautauqua, you will not have to pay the seasonal gate fee except on the days and times of your choosing. On the other days of your stay, enjoy the numerous selections of activities the Lakeside-Marblehead and Catawba area has to offer or just relax on the large porch area with both a covered and uncovered space. On the front of the house as sun room lined with windows that offers another peaceful area to unwind. There are 4 bedrooms. Bedroom #1 downstairs has one queen bed. Bedroom #2 upstairs has one queen bed. Bedroom #3 upstairs has one queen bed. Bedroom #4 upstairs has three twin bunk bed sets. An open bonus room Upstairs has a futon which sleeps One. There is a Queen Sofa bed in Sun Porch This cottage has three bathrooms. Two full baths are downstairs one has a tub/shower and the other has a shower. The upstairs full bath has a shower. Amenities include: washer and dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, charcoal grill, Smart cable TV, Games, Toys, Books, and a fire pit in the back yard for cozy evening gatherings. Firewood and charcoal are not provided. There are a total of 3 air conditioning units and there are ceiling fans in every bedroom and in the main living room area. Enjoy the home's lovely alcove off the kitchen called "The Nest." Wall murals are hand painted and feature a garden themed Seek and Find. The home is right off the main road of State Route 163 through Marblehead and the road has no outlet, so there is no traffic. Generous parking is available and easily accommodates up to 4 vehicles. Renters/Guests are not permitted to bring pets to any rental properties, either inside or outside. Some owners do have pets. Please note that a cleaning fee is required with each reservation. Upon departure, renters must wash, dry, and put away all kitchenware(including emptying the dishwasher), remove all trash and take to receptacles near the Welcome Center. Fold bedspreads at the foot of the used beds. Cottage Rentals Cancellation Policy: 30% Down payment is nonrefundable and due upon booking of reservation. Remaining balance is due 90 Days from arrival date. If not paid, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and 30% down payment will not be refunded. 60 Days to 89 Days from arrival date, if the reservation is Cancelled all monies will be refunded less the original 30% down payment. (i.e., $2,000 Full Payment; 30% Down Payment is $600. Cancelled refund is $1,400.) 31 Days to 59 Days of arrival date, if reservation is cancelled 50% of monies paid after the 30% down payment. (i.e., $2,000 Full Payment; 30% Down Payment is $600. Cancelled refund is $700.) 30 Days or less if the reservation is Cancelled there will be $0 refunds.
